My name is Michelle and I am a wife and mother of two beautiful teenage daughters. Like every family, we have had ups and downs that take us to the edge of crazy and back in a matter of minutes it seems. However, there are seasons of turmoil beyond what you can handle and you need help. This is where Jeff and his team at Sky Ranch Behavioral Services entered the journey with us. We needed help with our oldest daughter and establishing relationship skills that we were lacking. Jeff and his amazing team patiently walked us through a very difficult time and helped us learn how to be better people, parents, and family. Words cannot express our gratitude. In so many ways I am grateful, because I know our “problems” are nothing compared to some of the issues we could have faced, but we needed help and Jeff and his team were there. With the guidance of the staff at Sky Ranch, we have become a happier and healthier family and have learned to related to one another in a positive way! Thank you Jeff, Sammie and staff for your support and commitment to our family! You are each  amazing people placed in the perfect place to help others!

The countdown is on for the holidays and this year is no different than any other for Sky Ranch Behavioral Services.

The majority of the Sky Ranch Behavioral Services program consists of low-income families whom are not able to provide their children with basic necessities such as food and clothing. Food insecure families are so limited in their resources, that we have found out that most of the money goes to Rent and Utilities, rather than clothing and food. Every year during the holiday season, one of the Sky Ranch Behavioral Services goals is to provide our client’s families with food and clothing while eliminating hunger and food insecurity.

Sky Ranch Behavioral Services would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the support and role that Scheels All Sports has within our program. With the generous support of businesses such as Scheels All Sports, Sky Ranch Behavioral Services is able to continue to provide services to families and support the community in many different ways.

Posted by SkyRanch on July 30th, 2013

On July 16, 2013, Ralph Aguera and George McCarthy from the Sky Ranch Foundation made their annual trip to Sioux City, Iowa to visit the Sky Ranch Behavioral Services staff.

Ralph and George stayed for two days full of office tours, meetings, meet-and-greets, and dinners where the Sky Ranch Behavioral Services staff was able to update Ralph and George on the happenings in the office and the area, and also inform them of new partnerships formed over the past year.

Every year, the Sky Ranch Behavioral Services Staff looks forward to meeting with the Sky Ranch Foundation board members while enjoying their presence and expertise. DSC_0688 DSC_0685 DSC_0683 DSC_0680

Sky Ranch Services has been a big help in my son’s as well as my life. Jeff and Sammie have been very supportive and available at any time to take my call. My son always knows that he can call them with anything and they will be there for him. With AUTISM and ADHD having a good support system is key to success. These folks are amazing and I don’t know what I would do without them sometimes. Thank you very much for everything.

Second Annual Food and Clothing Drive

Posted by SkyRanch on December 26th, 2012

Sky Ranch Behavioral services held its second annual food and clothing drive this year from November 15th thru December 21st to benefit the low-income families that are involved in the Sky Ranch Program. Sky Ranch Behavioral Services teamed up with Scheels All Sports to provide clothing and food to 5 families. Sky Ranch Behavioral Services continues to work hard to serve the families of the Siouxland Community. The donations have helped with the growing number of families who are food and clothing insecure. Food insecure families are so limited in their resources, that we have found out that most of their money goes to rent and utilities, rather than food and clothing. In order for the families to decrease the stressors of having to worry about food and clothing during the hoilday season, Sky Ranch Behavioral Services provides the family with these necessities and in return, this helps the family concentrate on the skill development provided by Sky Ranch Behavioral Services. Sky Ranch Behavioral services goals are to keep the family intact, increase positive interaction and communication, decrease conflcits within the home, teach clients and their families skills to enhance their ability to function independently to provide a safe and secure environment, and provide families with food and clothing while eliminating hunger and food insecurity.

Happy Holidays/Thank you Scheels!

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.

With the holiday season right around the corner, we would like to extend the hand of gratitude to Scheels All Sports in Sioux City, IA for once again, going above and beyond the call of duty and bestowing a generous donation to Sky Ranch Behavioral Services. With these generous donations, we are able to fulfill the needs of the families that we work with. These needs include food and appropriate winter attire.

Thank you again Scheels All Sports for your continued support and contributions.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the Sky Ranch Behavioral Services Staff

Thank you Scheels All Sports

Thanks to Scheels All Sports for providing Sky Ranch Behavioral Services and the families that they work with with clothing, shoes, and back to school suppiles. This year has been extremely tough financially on some of the families that we provide services to. If not for the generosity of businesses like Scheels All Sports the families would not have the ability to purchase clothes, shoes, and school supplies for their kids.

Thanks again Scheels for your support.
